POLICIES

The Singing Studio does their absolute best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, requests, and specific needs. To ensure that we have adequate studio space and vocal coaches available, we have implemented to following policies. We ask that all students be cognisant and respectful of these when scheduling voice lessons.

Lesson Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule a lesson, The Singing Studio requires at least 24-hours notice, which can only be given using our online reschedule requests on our website.

If 24-hours notice (or more) is given, then a make-up lesson can be rescheduled within the next 30 days. After those 30 days, the make-up lesson is forfeited permanently. Make-up lessons are scheduled according to availability of vocal coaches and studio space, and are not guaranteed.

If less than 24-hours notice (or no notice) is given, the lesson is forfeited permanently and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Term Payments

The 1 on 1 vocal lessons must must be made up within the set term time and cannot be carried over to the next term. With the free group lesson acquired with the term payment, this also applies and cannot be used up in the following term. If you miss the free group lesson, unfortunately no lesson can be made up.

Tardiness

Please be on time! Lesson minutes lost due to student tardiness are not applied to the next lesson and are not prorated.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up

The Singing Studio asks that all students arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before their lesson begins, and stay no later than 10 minutes after their lesson ends. This is especially important for students who rely on a parent, guardian, or friend to transport them to and from lessons. Thank you for understanding!

Extreme Weather or Unexpected Interruptions

If lessons are canceled due to extreme weather or events beyond our control, i.e. power outage, natural disaster, etc. those lessons will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience for the student and The Singing Studio.

Lost/Stolen Items & Personal Injury

While The Singing Studio works hard to maintain safe, supportive, and comfortable environment, accidents can always happen. So please be careful and aware of your surroundings at all times. The Singing Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, or any injury that may occur inside or outside the studio.

The resulting media may be used for display, instruction manuals, books, marketing, website and internet promotion, in both print and electronic formats, and any other promotion purposes for The Singing Studio. Recordings, audio and/or visual, may be made during lessons and performances, however, only recordings from performances in the class and public events like workshops may be used by The Singing Studio for public display.
